Brian Schaffer graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (B.A. in Political Science and History) in 1980. Brian then graduated magna cum laude from American University Law School in 1983 where served as Assistant Editor of the American University Law Review. Brian then clerked at the United States Claims Court before obtaining an LL.M. in Labor and Employment Law from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1985.
Brian has spent the past 25 years as an attorney specializing in litigation, labor and employment matters, corporate law and professional responsibility issues. Brian has worked at large law firms, in-house counsel with Fortune 500 companies and as counsel with the State Bar of Texas.
Brian is admitted to practice before the state courts of Texas, Pennsylvania, Georgia and the District of Columbia. Brian is also admitted to the United States Supreme Court and to numerous federal district and appellate courts including the Southern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit.
