Health Care Litigation:

De la Rosa & Chaumette obtained a unanimous defense verdict on behalf of a large, Houston-based hospital system that was sued for $20 million by the family of a brain-damaged patient. The patient had suffered a cerebral herniation following treatment for routine pancreatitis. 

Insurance Coverage
Litigation:

De la Rosa & Chaumette lawyers litigated against an insurer who sought to avoid paying on a business interruption policy after numerous unforeseen construction delays at a cogeneration power facility. We defeated the insurer’s primary defense via summary judgment and obtained a multi-million dollar settlement for our client.

Trade Secret Disputes:
